Multi-Grammy winner and Peace Ambassador Shakira pics Barack Obama as her President, stated in an official statement on October 4th. Now, she can’t really vote yet, but Barack won’t miss her one ballot because it’s the endorsement and publicity that counts. Shakira is an international star and is very respected for being intelligent, politically savvy and most of all, generous and gracious.
The Candidate responded with lots of gratitude, stating he was honored to receive the singer’s endorsement. He expressed his profound admiration for the Colombian artist and his understanding of her major influence as a role model for U.S. Hispanics and Americans as well.
Shakira obvioulsy, encouraged Latinos in the U.S. to vote in November, as she reminded them that:
