Obama Fashion Week?
Urban artists, reggaetoneros and celebrities are really stepping up this election year to speak out. It’s become quite the hip-hop battle amongst some of the most influential of them, too. MTV Networks has been very involved promoting the Latino vote and Puerto Rican rapper Fat Joe is making his voice heard even through his gear. He’s for The Barack!
Opposing Daddy Yankee’s recent support of John McCain, Fat Joe is allegedly upset at Yankee for endorsing a candidate he knows nothing about and reminds young Latinos in the U.S. to research before casting their vote.
He’s made his point and has found a clear way to campaign. The old Obama T-shirt just seemed too overrated…
