Highlights from the ‘Padres Contra el Cancer’ Gala
The 8th annual “Padres Contra el Cancer” benefit gala was held last night in Hollywood, with some of our usual superestrellas rubbed elbows with some that have been missing in action for the longest time (hello, Daisy Fuentes!).
The night was topped off by a scintillating performance by Alejandro Fernandez (I’m a sucker for a man in tight charro pants) as well as the comedic stylings of George Lopez. Other big names in attendance were one very big and very pregnant Constance Marie, Ana de la Reguera, Eva La Rue, Judge Cristina Perez, and the ever mysterious, Eva Longoria.
I know the focus here should be on the benefit, but there’s something about that Eva that I just can’t put my finger on. Is it just me, or does that girl look puffier and puffier every time we see her? Is she still going to be “refusing to comment” on whether or not she’s pregnant six months down the road?
Unless she blames her growing gut on beer, homegirl had better set there record straight soon. Is she or isn’t she?

Yes, Eva may look a lil larger than normal, but we need to remember she is like a size 1 or 2???!! Is this what we are calling “getting fat”? Us minorities usually don’t focus on such “white girl” syndromes. Sorry for the stereotyping but, us ethnic women (I am black) have way more self-esteem than that.
