Love on the Rocks?
It is troubling indeed to report that our two favorite Spaniards, Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz, are experiencing a little relationship drama!
Though the couple enjoyed a romantic getaway off the coast of Belize a while back, it seems that they are now butting heads over dear Javier’s time-consuming film schedule.
Rumor has it that the two agreed to take a year off in order to enjoy some alone time together, but that Javier didn’t keep up his end of the bargain after agreeing to star in Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu’s upcoming film, “Biutiful.”
I hope Penelope isn’t just hating for no reason, since she’s a busy little actress herself, working on next month’s “Nine” opposite Nicole Kidman and Daniel Day Lewis.
I loitered in the movie theater lobby next to Javier at the L.A. premiere of “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” this summer, and he is just the sweetest thing ever. For a guy like him, I’m sure the wait would definitely be worth it. Nobody likes a mandona, Penelope! Have a little patience.
