At Least He’s Trying

We must confess that we here at Lossip are not the biggest Matthew McConaughey fans. Something about his drawl, his toplessness, and the fact that his limbs seem too short for his body just doesn’t sit right with us.

But we’ve got to give the guys props for his relationship with Camila Alves. Yeah, he knocked her up and still hasn’t married her yet, but we’ve never seen him this committed to any of the ladies he’s shacked up with in the past.

And what better way to prove your devotion to someone that to make a complete ass of yourself? Matthew finally joined Camila in Rio (where she and baby Levi had been spending some time) and she whisked him off to introduce him to her beloved Brazil.

After a quick stop for sushi, Matt and Camila stopped in on rehearsals for the samba school Portela, as preparations are already underway for next February’s Carnaval.

Apparently, the power of samba was so great, that it took hold of honky tonk Matt and compelled him to do the patented white guy I-don’t-know-how-to-dance-so-I’m-going-to-do-some-random-shit-with-my-elbows dance move. I can only imagine what his Portuguese sounds like.
