Christina Milian Takes No Prisoners
In a recent issue of “Rap-Up” magazine, cubana Christina Milian is breaking her silence about everything from her split from Nick Cannon, her thoughts on his marriage to Mariah Carey, and how Def Jam dropped her for Rihanna!
Reacting to the sudden and seemingly mismatched marriage, Christina said:
“I was surprised like everyone else. I was like, ‘Really?’ It just seemed like a weird match, but I was happy for him. I always feel Nick works hard to get what he wants, whether that be women—that’s how he got me.”
And as for getting cut from Island Def Jam back in 2006, she said:
“It was embarrassing. It was a week after my album [So Amazin’] got put out. I would be in my room a lot of the time crying by myself. It was a budget cut, I believe. [Def Jam] probably got rid of projects like mine to spend the money on [Rihanna].”
What do you all think? Does all this mess make you like Christina a little more? Or is she just complaining for no reason?

I love her to death.it makes me feel more connected to her.it surprised me also.when she got dropped she seemed so positive about it.i didn’t know she went throught of that like the crying and all.and as far as nick goes.he is not the one for her.It makes me like her more.

she sings… and she writes songs for j-lo… she acts… off the top of my head i can’t name any songs, movies, or anything. wait isn’t she on myspace records?

@ vicki, she knew why she was dropped it was poor record sales. her last album with def jam was her third flop. and as far as acting she is worse than jlo and beyonce combined, truly pathetic. she can however write pretty okay songs and she is pretty she should probably focus on writing and try to get a tv gig (non acting) or a radio gig.
She is cute and should focus on acting and writing like Iris said. Glad she has found closure in the Nick Cannon thing. They were too young to be committed anyway. Don’t get on love lockdown too early.

I think that’s funny that you say she does all that stuff but you can’t name one song or movie. and let’s not pretend we know her personally so nobody can really claim she is a nice person on this post. I do think she is pretty but the last album I heard was horrible and she did use her looks to get what small sales it did have.
I’ve always wondered why she isn’t a bigger star. She’s beautiful, talented, and she seems to have a great personality. I like her much better than Rihanna. If they gave her songs like they gave Rihanna she would be even bigger than Rihanna! She needs to get in touch with her Latinidad and do a record with some Spanish!

LaLA they offered her 2 of Rihanna’s hit songs before they went to Rihanna she turned them down. She’s pretty yes and she doesn’t sing too bad but she doesn’t have an it factor past being a pretty girl. The most she’s known for is being Nicks’ ex and Dip It Low. So many can’t name one movie she’s been in since her biggest film hit was Love DOn’t Cost a thing.
