Maite and William Helping the Kiddies

Here’s a little confession: we here at Lossip actually have a secret telenovela addiction, and “Cuidado con el ángel” tops our list. It’s a guilty pleasure.

This week, the two photogenic faces behind the cheese ball love stories, Maite Perroni and William Levy, took time out from looking intensely grief-stricken, confused, and/or unbelievably shocked and donated some time to the kids of Puebla.

The pair spent the day working with a foundation dedicated to rehabilitating “niños de la calle” and each actor stopped to give some inspiration words to the kids.

Maite said:

“Te das cuenta de tantas realidades tan diversas  como lo fue para nosotros, porque pudimos tener la fortuna de estar en un espacio en Juconi, aquí en la ciudad de Puebla en donde te das cuenta que cuando se quiere se puede.”

How telenovela wonderful. Here’s what William said:

“Es lindo siempre que tienes un chance de venir y compartir con los niños, me emociona mucho el que haya seres humanos que se preocupan por los niños, creo que es muy importante eso.”

Que cute. But now that their good deeds are out of the way, maybe Marichuy and Juan Miguel can get back to finding where their kidnapped love child is being held?
