Christina Aguilera: Style Icon?
There’s not denying that Christina Aguilera has one fabulous voice, and few singers today have the natural talent to compete with hers (except maybe Mariah).
But when it comes to fashion and style…we’re sad to report that Christina has all the good taste of a melted down box of crayons. So it came as a surprise to us when we found out that the singing diva was tapped as the next celebrity designer for fierce London fashion chain, TopShop…
The ridiculously fly clothes put out by TopShop are at the height of edgy English fashion, whereas Christina lies somewhere between crazy treasure troll and albino transvestite.
But apparently for TopShop’s owner Phillip Green, Christina has definitely got what it takes when it comes to good style. We’re wondering if Phillip Green has some kind of vision impairment issue?
According to a spokesperson for Green:
“Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to TopShop.”
Although she is set to earn at least £1 million for her line, Christina won’t replace Kate Moss as the other celeb name behind TopShop designs. Instead, the label’s fashion masterminds are looking to play Christina’s designs off of Kate’s.
“Christina is the blond bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model. She’d appeal to a younger shopper than Kate.”
Alright then. If some of you out there are fans of Christina’s fashion sense, let your voices be heard. However, as far as I’m concerned, I’m not really down with the whole I-got-dressed-in-the-dark look.

she’s had better days-
first off, mariah ruined her voice with smoking listen to mariah sing live. she can no longer hit the high notes or anyothers for that matter. beyonce’, leona lewis, celine dion, alicia keys all have better careers and just as good voices a C.A. But those ladies don’t look like they dressed out of the trash bin.
she looks fine. Stop hatin’, damn.
She must be a style icon cuz you all can’t seem to stop talking about her clothes! She wears what she wants and takes risks, and everybody eats it up…that’s why she is considered an icon…
