Words of Wisdom from Thalía

Thalía announced her book signing in New York City yesterday that she only had four weeks to go before her big day. While promoting her new book “Thalia: Belleza! Lessons in Lipgloss and Happiness” she spoke of the things she wants to teach her little girl:

¿Qué piensas enseñarle a tu hija sobre la belleza interior y la exterior?
[...] Las cosas simples de pegarse una pestaña o ponerse un lipstick, ya yo se lo enseño.

What are you thinking of teaching your daughter about inner and outer beauty?
[...] The simple things, such as gluing [false] lashes and putting on lipstick, that I will teach her.

False lashes! Is that what moms are supposed to teach their daughters ? Man, my mom was way off!
