Paula DeAnda “Doing Too Much” Singer Auditions For ‘The Voice’ (Video)
Remember her? Yep, so do we. We can’t even express how excited we are to know that Paula DeAnda will be gracing our TV screens again, this time, as a competitor on NBC‘s The Voice.
The 24 year-old Mexicana from San Angelo, Texas, first popped on the scene about eight years ago, when she auditioned for music giant Clive Davis.
Her single, “Doing To Much,” was certified gold in the U.S., and featured singer Baby Bash, with whom she previously opened up for. The two reunited a few years later, hence the pic off DeAnda’s Instagram.
Her album, Paula DeAnda, featured both “Doing To Much,” and “Walk Away,” which was her biggest single to date. She also collaborated with Bow Wow for another single “Easy.”
She appeared on MTV‘s TRL, and their film, Super Sweet 16: The Movie.
DeAnda’s young and very talented. She’ll often post videos of her singing on Instagram and various other social sites.
It’d be cool to see her take the industry by storm, again. Let’s see if she makes it past the judges (if she doesn’t…um hello?!) and if so, we think Usher or Shakira would be the best pairing for her. Make sure to watch The Voice tonight, (8/7 c on NBC) to possibly spot DeAnda’s auditon.
By the way, we wouldn’t call it a comeback, ’cause in our hearts, she never left.
