Jennifer Lopez Has Way Too Much Money
One look at Jennifer Lopez’s baby registry and there’s no denying she is having twins. Spoiled twins, at that.
The pop star registered for almost $7,000 worth of gifts at Petit Tresor, the exclusive L.A. baby boutique.
Here’s a breakdown of her registry via Daily News:
- 2 Baby CZ cashmere outfits, one in pink stripes and one in blue - $349 / each
- 2 Moses baskets - $225 / each
- Smushy teddy bears, pink or blue - $ 65 / each
- 1 Balmoral enameled black carriage - $3,495
- 1 suede play mat - $289
- 10 Adiri Natural Nurser - $22 /each
- 1 jogging stroller for two - $560 / each
- 2 double Peg Perego strollers, one in toffee and one in mint - $429 /each
La Lopez is reportedly spending $40,000 for Petit Tresor to design three nurseries– one for each of the couple’s estates in Bel Air, Fisher Island, and Oyster Bay. A friends says, “She wants them filled with the most chic furniture from Europe and embroidered linens from France.” All in pink in blue.
OMG, where do I even start? Are we so consumed with material possession that somehow we’ve lost all sense of logic? Tell me what baby needs a $349 cashmere outfit?
Seriously, do you know what babies do? They eat, burp, poop, and vomit. I understand the woman may not want to go to K-Mart, but this just seems little too much. Thoughts?

I don’t see anything wrong with her spending HER money on her babies. She’s excited as many first time parents would be. She don’t have to open up a foundation for her babies! What would that do besides make all these people in the world want more and more habdouts! The harsh reality of it is that SHE worked her butt off for HER money and if her and her friends want to lavish her babies eith gifts then so be it! Stop hatin! just because you are a walmart shopper doesn’t mean everyone has to be.
I agree with Angela( 5 comments up). Celebrities in general waist too much money, dont just pick on Jennifer. I mean really, as much as I love them, its crazy. I cant afford to go to college!
whatever….those babies aren’t going to remember a darn thing about any of those million $$ nurseries.. Its hard having healthy babies much less twins, I just hope the babies come out fine. When I was pregnant, I wanted the best of every name brand clothing too, but I got over it real quick. When they start tearing it up and not wearing even a quarter of the clothes you bought them she’ll get over it..
She can afford it! It’s a shame though her baby’s nurseries cost more than I’ll make in 10 years.

hey J.LO, I’m only having one in March, share the wealth. lol, it is a bit much but it’s her money and she worked for it, I just hope she teaches her children that money aint’ everything, can’t take it with you to heaven, but she probably won’t they will end up like the rest of young hollywood!!!
She has the right to spend her money as she pleases, although anyone w/common sense would count this as pure overindulgence. None the less I am not going to bash her as she earned that moeny and with it the right to dispose of it. Now if she were stealing from my pension or my paycheck, I would beat her senseless
Who would have thought Nicole Richie would be the rich celebrity to give back to needy babies and their Mothers by donating all the gifts received at her baby shower to charity! Wow, maybe JLo will follow in her footsteps!
