Nothing Says Friendship Like a Lawsuit

Pregnant or not, Jennifer Lopez isn’t the kind to take a break from business.

The singer/fashion designer is getting prepared to take her former fashion partner Andy Hilfiger to court after collaborative efforts fell through.

One reason for the separation was said to be Marc Anthony, who apparently was very hands-on and cramped Hilfiger.

The two parted ways last year after a disappointing collaboration on her label, Sweetface. Despite huge hype and a presence at New York Fashion Week, the line never lived up to expectations.

“It is expected that she will file suit and that he will countersue,” says a source close to one of the parties. “They’re likely to sue each other.”

The split took place after years of seemingly cordial relations that even saw Hilfiger attending the Sweetface shows with his designer brother, Tommy.

“Andy is very happily back at the Hilfiger empire,” says the snitch of his decision to return to his brother’s business.

It may be so that Marc Anthony was a little too hands on, but if you ask me the man jumped ship because her clothing line sucks. Don’t get me wrong, the girl knows how to make jeans that show off a woman’s ass, but aside from that, I’ll pass.

Whatever, J. Lo will most likely win the lawsuit anyway. With an ass that huge, who’s going to say no? That thing is a weapon not to be messed with.
