Alexis Bledel’s Semi-Steamy Summer

Rodrigo Santoro and Alexis Bledel in "The Post Graduate Survival Guide"

I’ll confess that I stopped watching “Gilmore Girls” when Rory started whoring around town with every random gringo on the block. But aside from that, I’ve been pretty neutral about most projects with Alexis Bledel’s name on it.

But when I got wind that the Mexi-Argentine actress was set to star opposite the most perfect man in the universe -Rodrigo Santoro- my neutral Bledel status instantly launched itself into full-on jealousy!

In her upcoming movie, “The Post Grad Survival Guide,” Alexis plays Ryden Malby (I have no idea who picked this nombrecito for her, but whatever) who finds herself crumbling under the pressure of finding a job, finding the right man, and finding her purpose in life.

Girl, we’re right there with you! Click to see some more stills from “The Post Grad Survival Guide,” set to hit theaters in this summer.

Latinas Take On American Icons

America Ferrera as Dolores Huerta

In a blend of old and new, Glamour magazine put together its photo spread of “American Icons,” featuring today’s brightest starlet portraying “seven decades of female risk takers, rule breakers and style makers.”

Some of the mini-estrellas featured are Alexis Bledel as Rosie the Riveter, Camilla Belle as Mary Tyler Moore, Odette Yustman in a group shoot for ‘the women of Woodstock,’ and -I swear this one brought tears to my eyes- America Ferrera as Dolores Huerta.

It may be a small gesture, but its so heartening to see that, not only are Latina actresses being recognized as up-and-coming stars, but that Dolores Huerta got a place of honor as an American icon.

Alexis Bledel Lands New Gig

Alexis Bledel to guest on "ER" finale

We never hear anything about Alexis Bledel these anymore, which is pretty ironic given that the ex-’Gilmore Girl’ made a name for herself by playing one of the most annoyingly over-articulate characters in history.

But it looks like the Mexi-Argentine actress is breaking free of both Rory and her ‘travelling pants,’ landing a new role on “ER”…to bad its for the show’s finale!

According to TVGuide, Alexis is set to play Dr. Julia Wise, a new intern at County General, in the long-running show’s series finale on April 12.

Are there any ER fans out there? I stopped watching after Dr. Green died, so I have no idea what’s become of everyone.

Clearly, Someone Didn’t Read Lossip

By the looks of it, both Christina Milian and Alexis Bledel were in desperate need of some Halloween costume advice this weekend, as both of them seemed to half-ass their way through their respective parties.

Christina, for all her good intentions, arrived at the Pur Jeans Halloween Bash in Los Angeles trying to look like a lady bug, but instead looking more like a psychotic Ronald McDonald in lingerie.

As for Alexis, who knows what this girl tried to come dressed as, deciding to hit up the Soho Grand Halloween Party in New York in a randomly giant floppy hat. My best guess as to this costume…Jennifer Lopez?

These girls obviously missed Friday’s post on last minute costume ideas…and look at these tragic results!
