Why don’t we see Daisy Fuentes more often? Who knows, but here’s a little attempt to remedy that.
The gorgeous cubana walked the runway as part of Mercedes-Benz Fall Fashion Week’s “Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection” in today New York.
The event, designed to kick off Fall fashion week, also served to raise awareness for women’s heart disease. The dresses modeled by the celebs in the show will all be auctioned off to raise money for the Heart Truth campaign.
Other celebs on the runway were Vivica A. Fox, Hilary Duff, Jennie Garth, and ex-Wonder Woman (and half-mexicana) Lynda Carter.

After who knows how long, actress Daisy Fuentes has reemerged recently looking just as fabulous as ever (must be all that pilates, huh?) and was spotted this weekend during a promotional photo shoot for her upcoming clothing line for Kohl’s.
While the leggy cubana looked as glam as ever, I’m not sure I’ll be tempted to buy what this lady will be selling. Call me crazy, but I’m not a fan of a store that’s packed wall to wall with synthetic materials.

The re-opening of the Burberry store in Beverly Hills attracted some very polished and sophisticated superestrellas to the event’s…white carpet?
Dania Ramirez and Daisy Fuentes were just a few of the names who came out for the store’s event, with other names including Liv Tyler, Kate Hudson, Mischa Barton, Kate Beckinsale, and Maria Menounos, among others.
I myself am not much of a fan of Burberry for two reasons: One, I’m not really a fan of subtely integrating plaid into every element of my wardrobe; and two, I’m not willing to blow crazy amounts of money on dressing like a dumpy Englishwoman caught in a rainstorm.
But that’s just me! Apparently these mujeres are really into Burberry.
The 8th annual “Padres Contra el Cancer” benefit gala was held last night in Hollywood, with some of our usual superestrellas rubbed elbows with some that have been missing in action for the longest time (hello, Daisy Fuentes!).
The night was topped off by a scintillating performance by Alejandro Fernandez (I’m a sucker for a man in tight charro pants) as well as the comedic stylings of George Lopez. Other big names in attendance were one very big and very pregnant Constance Marie, Ana de la Reguera, Eva La Rue, Judge Cristina Perez, and the ever mysterious, Eva Longoria.
I know the focus here should be on the benefit, but there’s something about that Eva that I just can’t put my finger on. Is it just me, or does that girl look puffier and puffier every time we see her? Is she still going to be “refusing to comment” on whether or not she’s pregnant six months down the road?
Unless she blames her growing gut on beer, homegirl had better set there record straight soon. Is she or isn’t she?
