We love it when our superestrellas get their charity on. Like our girl Rosario Dawson, who hosted the Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York charity event yesterday.
Rosario, who has been involved with the charity for a few years now, spearheaded the recent fundraiser by lending her famous name and gorgeous face to it.

You gotta love a girl who knows how to keep it real, but knows when to party as well.
That’s why we’ve got nothing but props for Rosario Dawson who as pulling double-duty this weekend, speaking at the Global Green USA Millenium Awards and cranking up the sex appeal at Spike TV’s “Guys Choice Awards” (where she presented Quentin Tarantino the “Most Manticipated Movie” award for ‘Inglorious Basterds’).

As much as we love Rosario Dawson, we couldn’t help but feel a terrible pang of sadness when we saw the hot mess shew as rocking at the 10th Anniversary Scenarios USA Awards And Gala in New York yesterday.
The normally stunning Rosario looked frumpy like no other in a shapeless brown dress and knee-high brown boots. Not only did this fashion abomination not compliment her skintone, but the whole combination kept her looking way too covered up.
Dear Rosario, please remember to get a second opinion before you decide to leave your house decked out in head-to-toe brown.
That’s exactly what I said when I saw that Rosario Dawson walked the red carpet at the 1st annual Streamy Awards this weekend.
Apparently, the new awards are meant to honor the best in web television, with their website saying:
“Nominations in 24 categories are reviewed by members of the International Academy of Web Television, an independent organization whose membership is comprised of leaders in the field of web television, web video and the digital entertainment industry.Every year the Academy also selects one recipient the for Web Television Visionary Award. Each spring, the nominees, the press, industry luminaries, celebrity guests, and members of the academy, come together at the Streamy Awards in Los Angeles to celebrate and honor outstanding achievement in the space.”
As for Rosario, the mainstream beauty went a little underground, and was nominated for Best Female Actor in a Dramatic Web Series for her work in “Gemini Division.”
We love Rosario Dawson for being so unconventionally beautiful, but what just made us fall in love with her all over again was her recent interview with TMagazine for the New York Times.
Rosario opens up about all the crazy mess that her “6-foot-tall, Cuban/Puerto Rican Amazon,” mama used to pull on her, and frankly, its all hilarious.
“My mom told me so much about sex at an early age that she scared me: I didn’t have sex until was 20. I got into trouble at school because one of my friends said, ‘‘Lesbians do it with straws.’’ I said, ‘‘I can tell you how lesbians do it, and there are no straws involved!’’ But I think all that talk of sex put me off. The first time I had it, I think it was in a head-to-toe rubber. I was terrified of getting pregnant. My mom was planning to get an abortion when she was pregnant with me. She was at the clinic waiting for her appointment and she felt me move in her stomach. I always tell her it was probably gas. I thank God for gas.”

Also among the guests were Rosario Dawson and Jessica Alba, the latter of which chatted it up with Halle Berry for a good part of the night (maybe she was trying to get advice on how to get your career to bounce back from a Razzie-winning year?)
