First People en Español, then Maxim, now FHM has released their list of belleza favorites for 2009.
And it should come as no surprise that some truly fine mujeres -not the beef jerky weirdness that might have made some of those other lists- were named to the ranks of FHM’s.
The only thing we don’t understand is their ranking system?! How on Earth could chronic frumpadump Jessica Alba outrank Salma Hayek, Shakira, Eva Mendes, or even Adriana Lima?!
Our guess is that there must be some Alba bias over at FHM. Fortunately, you all know we’ve got the antidote for that.

Always fabulous Salma Hayek and Penélope Cruz have been slated to become the most recent addition to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Hollywood.
Frankly, we’d be all for this odd tribute if it weren’t for two things: one, the last waxy renditions we saw featured Bolivian President Evo Morales being plagued by some unfortunate midgetry.
Second, we’re a little afraid that a lazy-handed wax sculptor might be working under the assumption that all Latinas look alike.
In any case, there’s one reassuring facet to all this - Salma’s waxy wardrobe has already been confirmed as a duplicate of one of her elaborate Frida costumes.

Technically, she wasn’t ‘at sea’ (she was just leaving Boston Harbor) but still, the sight of Salma Hayek on a boat just for the hell of it struck us as kind of odd.
The always sexy mexicana spent the weekend aboard the “Il Mostro” sailboat, where Salma -partnered with PUMA Ocean Racing- helped steer the yacht out of the harbor and into open water.
Why? Who knows. Apparently, the sailboat was part of the seventh leg of the Volvo Ocean Race…and yet, we still have no idea what that means.
Could it be that Salma’s marriage to ultra-millionaire François-Henri Pinault turned her bougie? Or is sailing really as fun as all those stuffy ricos act like it is?
The most recent issue of Quién magazine features newlyweds (two times over) Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault loving each other up on their honeymoon!
The pair had been vacationing on one of the Seychelles islands off the eastern coast of Africa, north of Madagascar. According to the magazine, Salma and her hubby shacked up in an eco-friendly resort that cost a whopping $7,500 a night.

According to sources, these pesky hackers are sending out computer viruses via emails with titles like “Salma Hayek ya tiene gripe porcina,” or “Madonna está contagiada” to get trusting chismosos to click on them.
I know we all love Salma, and are morbidly fascinated by Madonna, but try to keep a wary eye out for these sketch emails. Most of them are disguised as being from reputable news sources like FOX or CNN, so don’t be fooled!
